Cornerstone of the new basilica of Lujan

May 15, 1887. The first stone of the new basilica, designed by Fr. Jorge M. Salvaire, was placed and blessed, and the magnificent rays were added to the Holy Image, completing the adornment with the halo of twelve stars.
