Birth of Fr. Jorge Maria Salvaire

January 6, 1847. Father Jorge María Salvaire is born in Castres, France. He would make three great offerings to the Virgin of Lujan: the publication of his majestic History of Our Lady of Lujan, the pontifical coronation of the Holy Image and the construction of the current magnificent basilica.
