February 4, 1899. Jorge M. Salvaire, a great devotee of the Virgin of Luján and propagator of her cult and history, dies in Lujan.
February 4, 1999. On the occasion of the centenary of the death of Fr. Jorge M. Salvaire, the Historical Exhibit of the Basilica of Lujan is inaugurated, with elements related to the history of the Virgin and her sanctuary.
